In a world where magic has just been discovered, every kingdom is racing to understand and control it. Coal, a young panther researcher living in Royalreach—a new town funded by the capital to speed up magic research—devotes himself to uncovering its secrets to help improve society.

Like many others, he faces constant setbacks and dead ends. But one day, while gathering materials for his next experiment, he encounters something—or someone—unusual.

This chance meeting could be the breakthrough he needs to finally unlock the mysteries of magic.
