Not a fan of Rou and Theodore splitting... Because man, making himself a shield to save Theodore's life, ending with him turned into a blank slate, with no memory of anything, just earned Rou a place in that romantic corner of my heart dedicated to characters that say I love you without saying it...
As for Jaime... He's a bit of a logical, working machine that leaves no room for emotions to thrive. Had he given into them maybe he didn't end up in the harbour...
David is a head in the clouds, goofy and but limited (so far).
Monti is very sweet and I'd like to see him thrive.

I was worried we were reaching an ending so soon, but after the whole thing with the protests and mayhem going on in the city for at least another week i guess it's safe to assume this is just an early ending and we're around halfway through for the rest of the story. The remodels are looking good, specially kristoffer, i hope he becomes an ally at some point on the story although it doesn't seem likely.
some dude on roblox was playing and gatekeeping a song from this game, talking about sum "if anyone found out what game this song is, it would mess up my public image" as if he was popular or something.
I kind of wish there was an in-game journal feature to help with remembering all the information and locations. Like the one they have in Devil's Gambit
damn, i havent been this betrayed since cooper and lance in rtf. overall, i'd say this seems very compelling, well-designed (and not just visually), and well-executed to me. the bones of this project are just as strong as the production value, and it is clearly not over-reliant on the strength of its visuals to attempt to distract readers from poor writing or story design, which is an unfortunately-common strategy among some developers. typos are also at a respectable minimum, which is another refreshing element. the serialized nature of vn updates as a writing medium obviously leaves many questions in the plot unanswered as the story continues to develop, but this project offers a salient opportunity for getting the inside view of the construction of a mystery story, while still withholding critical parts of itself from the reader's view. the temporary scaffolding structures are all there, but even so, the central mysteries of the story have still been kept concealed and won't be easily coaxed out. very good job. i will be paying closer attention to the update schedule of this project now that it's on my radar
I just finished reading the novel and wow, amazing characters, interesting story and the soundtrack uff, however there was something that I found not so nice and that is that certain situations or ideas are raised creating expectation, but something always happens that prevents these situations are given; such as personal conversation with Rou, and it was quite frustrating.
I understand that the current ending is not the only one, so I really hope that in the other endings they work better on the interpersonal relationships and not create so much expectation if they don't plan to deal with the situation, but despite this it has many more good things so in general terms it´s a great novel.
That was phenomenal. I felt a sheer whirlwind of emotions. Every time I caught onto something, I was desperately hoping Theodore would see it.
The first ending implemented is so bittersweet. Just playing through left an ache in my heart for everyone. It is definitely a satisfactory ending. Even a tragic and bittersweet ending is still an ending, and I appreciate that.
That all said, NOT THE ENDING I'M PLAYING FOR DAMNIT~! I fully intend to jump on the next available routes. This is not how I'm gonna end the story! I want to see everything played to its most logical conclusion! And hopefully, a happy one.
Kudos to the writers and everyone involved. This is peak storytelling. I say this as an avid collector of stories and teller of them. If a story can catch a person's heart, it's superbly written. It certainly captured mine. Like I said, my heart ached for everyone at the end of this route. Well done, I tip my proverbial hat in the direction of everyone who made this story happen!
Lawrence is an ugly fugly crusty dusty musty rusty, piece of shit hoe who can jump off the empire state building and land on a pile of bird shit, coated in urine, then thrown into a vat of acid, then into a lava pool, then thrown into then sun, then landing back on earth, landing dead center in the shibuya incident, hit with some idle transfiguration, then a hollow purple, then a flame arrow, world cutting slash, then punched into the MHA verse where he is pummeled by class 1A, then is blasted into OPM, Hit with Genos's incinerate, a serious punch, table flip, serious sneeze, Omni directional punch, then sent into DBZ where the entire verse spams Ki attacks on him, including 2, not 1, but 2 spirit bombs, then lands back on earth, hit with one last black flash from Yuji, then is pushed of THAT cliff and hit with that happy feet wombo combo, a 20-20-20 dropkick, and if he manages to make it back the the shithole he calls home, I hope both sides of his pillow are hot😁
There's no way that's the end 🥲 why is the update so short. Anyways, I'm so mad right now, i figured something bad's gonna happen after that guy went to Theodore. I want that guy dead. 😊
Writing is not bad, there's some interesting things happening, but like 70% of the time I'm just Theothore not knowing why things happen. Even when the first ending drops there's some lose ends and like that's normal for a "police like" genre VN, right?
The peace of it all... it's seems to me WAYYYYY to rushed. Guys, this all happens in one week?!?!?!? The romance is forge way too early, those two get to meet 2 days and blam, suddenly in love????? Also the let's add to our spy agency this 0 experienced guy who also failed to do it's improved task the day before thing????
Don't get me wrong, when those things hit they are very emotional and I like them but I think it could be done better or something...
Love the charming/calmed music, the blurred background art is brilliant for the story, these really tied the experience as a hole. I really like the new sprites rather than the old ones hopefully Rou, Javier and the rest can be updated to some flashier sprite work.

Does "Javier's path" mean just choosing Javier's plan at the power plant? And not actually a romance path with Javier? Is Rou the only romance?
And is Lawrence knocking on the hotel door the current end of content available?
I'm enjoying it! The writing is good and I like Rou and Javier, however the other characters like David and Monti definitely stick to their tropes a bit too much...
Also seeing that Build 9 will have an ending for Javier's path seems like it will not clear up a lot of stuff... Unless it will be a "bad" end that ends abruptly.
I'm genuinely just asking if I had reached the last of the available content, none of my comment was meant to rush them.
And if I am understanding "Javier's Route" correctly or not. Since usually "route" suggests romance for most VNs, but it currently still seems to primarily focus on Theo's feelings for Rou. If Rou is the only romance and Javier's "route" is more so to do with Javier's way of investigating, that is also fine. I'm just trying to find out information.
Can there please be a setting to disable dialogue interrupts? Half the time Javier talks the game speeds past half the lines when he explains things assuming I don't want to read them.
