For the latest build, I have mixed feelings about it. The story is very good until it reaches the part when Javier, Theo, and Helix return to Javier's apartment. I think that part is poorly executed. There were so many possibilities for how the story could end, but it concluded in a very predictable way. However, the bad ending is chef's kiss. The intensity of the story really hooked me. Also, Build 11 is the best build so far. The blackout part/lore is done perfectly. Thank you for creating this novel, and I can't wait for the Rou routes
Thanks for the feedback! No two endings will share similar traits and Javier's route mainly focused on the investigation of Blackout and not the general mystery at large.
Rou's route will cover many of the questions left unanswered in Javier's route.
I like this game love the story the investigation aspect the characters I got both ending for Javier's route but my main problem is that there isn't much time spent with javier i like rou but i think the story would benefit from having theodore spend more time with Javier so you care about him more during the story if something happened to javier in rou route it would be less impactful because you aren't close to him in the story like you are with rou but I might be biased because I like foxes again i love this game just think the game would benefit from this
Oh, I'm really happy to see how Javier's route end, more than I expected. Also, Magnus is so fucking hot (I'm sorry, Rou). It just feels like a lot of things haven't been fully explained yet and hopefully will be answered in the Rou's route. Can't wait to see the next Rou's route. In addition, I don't know if the sprites that Rou, Javier and Theodore will be updated. After all, the other characters are more three-dimensional and refined, and I hope to see that the three of them can also have that level of sprites. Anyway, I really enjoyed the game and thank you for your hard work.

I've just finished reading this after found out about this VN for a while. I don't usually like detective-kind of story, I was under the impression it would be lengthy-info dump kind of writing (probably because of my past experience reading something with similar genre) and was actually going to just try it for the mystery/thriller tag in it.
But. Wow. Just... Wow.
I really, really love the writing style so much. All the characters are so very expressive. And how descriptive it is to explain about things/scene that happens, it's just. I wasn't expecting it to be this good."I love it, I love this VN" on just about 1/5 part of it. Not only are all the characters being hot as hell, but the way also the story unfold, doesn't seem rushed. The pace is just right. I really, really can't wait for it to continue. I really want to know what will happen to Rou! Ugh, I'll let myself be in suspense, for now.

BUT when it comes to the art style on the websites page we see David who looks alright, your normal character but then if I just look a bit more to the right we got this random boar stranger who has WAY MORE DETAIL and stuff. My question is that did they ever change the older stuff to meet the current art style (since either he commissioned a different artist or the artist improved) since the older art looks good while the new art style looks GREAT.
Again sorry but I would like to know. It just really bugs me when I read something and I see a massive art style change (again sorry, I’m just peckish)

Regarding your question, we're currently putting time and funding into creating more sprites for new characters (with the new style) than redo-ing the old ones. Once we're done creating new characters, we'll slowly redo old sprites that need refreshing. So far we've updated David, Kristoffer, and Dust's.
Thank you for replying and im happy to see that eventually you update the old sprites. Even if it takes a while i dont care or mind since certain cases someone has finished a story and left old characters looking... well not bad but you get it and then new character outstanding

This novel is GOOD!!! After following this novel for the past year I gotta say, I loved returning to this story after each new update. The vibe it takes is cool and it makes being a private investigator so interesting. There's memorable characters, there's tension & stakes, and a lot of pieces to think about in the plot. The music is good too

It's a good FVN, I'm a fan of mystery, action and thriller. The characters are great, the story is very interesting, Rou; your main love interest is a real badass and his fox partner Javier; is an amazing character. Read it for a good chunk of six hours from the start until the latest update. The events of the story left me on the edge of my seat, it got really intense and the MC; Theodore is honestly so relatable with being confused and just going along with the fucked up shit he got himself into. Can't wait for the ending so that the MC just goes "bro you wouldn't believe what the hell I just went through in my vacation."
